Cerro Chirripo



The Cerro Chirripo is the name of the highest point in Costa Rica, is part of La Amistad International Park Costa Rica.

The summit is 3,820 meters above sea level (12,530 feet), and is the most famous mountain of the Cordillera de Talamanca, and one of the highest in Central America. It offers visitors scenery than anywhere else in the country you can see, including glacial lakes. From its summit, on clear days one can see the Pacific Ocean and Caribbean Sea looking southwest or northeast respectively, also can be seen 3/4 parts of the country and territories Panama. At its highest point seen plains, steep points, glacial lakes, forests and a variety of nature.
