YOUR OVERALL COMMENTS ON THE TRIP:

Overall we had a great vacation. Our travel agent was very attentive and kept us apprised of everything that was going on. They greeted us at the airport upon our arrival. All our drivers were helpful and knowledgeable as well. They arrived on time, and when there were unavoidable delays, they proactively communicated with us on the status of everything (we vacationed at the peak season over Christmas/New Years).

We really enjoyed all the excursions. The tour operators were funny, knowledgeable and especially keen on safety, which we greatly appreciated (for those excursions like river rafting, tubing, sea kayaking, etc.).

We loved our visit to CR. Both the Royal Corin in Fortuna and the Parador in Manual Antonio were first class hotels. Nice rooms, plenty of amenities, great food. We lacked for nothing (except extra days to vacation!)

This will definitely not be our last trip to Costa Rica. When we return we'll use Tachiz Travel again. Alex and Francisco gave us tons of options to chose from. They were accommodating in adding in last minute excursions and overall, they were a pleasure to work with.

WHAT WERE THE MOST ENJOYABLE OR MEMORABLE PARTS OF YOUR TRIP?

We enjoyed the Sky Tram and hike around the forest in the rain. That was really neat. We also like the Sea Kayaking, and the Catamaran Sunset Cruise.

IF YOU COULD TAKE YOUR TRIP AGAIN, WHAT WOULD YOU DO DIFFERENTLY?

We spent a good bit of time in the car, from San Jose, to La Fortuna, then from there to Manual Antonio, then back to San Jose. If there was some way to avoid the car time or as much car time, that would have been even better. I think overall, it was a lot of fun. The country and her people are truly special.
