Manuel Antonio National Park

 
The Manuel Antonio National Park is located in the Central Pacific region of Costa Rica. This park has a group of islets (Mogotes Olocuitas, Toro Amarillo, Twin and Picuda) used as nesting and roosting sites for waterfowl.

The park includes 12 rocky islands are a haven for seabirds and sea creatures that take advantage of lush vegetation and fauna. The Manuel Antonio National Park is famous for its beautiful white sand beaches all Blue Flag Scull including South Beach, Playa Manuel Antonio, Playa Puerto Escondido Center and Beach (the latter can only be entered during the period of low tide) .

Easily you can see varieties of animals like monkey Cariblanco, Titi or squirrel monkey, sloths, coatis, agoutis, small mammals and many birds. Manuel Antonio Park is the most visited park by foreign tourists, which becomes the second most visited park in Costa Rica.

One of the best trails in Manuel Antonio National Park is the Way the Lazy, which offers stunning views of the park's islands off shore, or go to the Punta Cathedral and get great views of the beautiful Pacific coast. When visiting the park does hire a guide, as it can be very helpful and informative and make a trip to the small outdoor natural history museum and park information center.
