-Very well organized trip, above and beyond our expectations! Everything went as planned. All recommended activities were exactly what we wanted. Guides were excellent, food was delicious! Driver was very good.
What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?
-Upon arrival at San Jose airport, our group of seven was personally greeted by Alex, Francisco, Alex's daughter and the driver, each holding a personalized sign for each couple in the group. All vouchers were presented to us upon arrival as well. All hotels were first rate. El Silencio Lodge was simply superb! Great ambience, gourmet food! It sits on 200 acres of privately owned land, so we had a fabulous hike to three waterfalls with no one else in sight, just the seven of us and our guide! Unforgettable!
The Poas Volcano, La Paz waterfall, sightings of Arenal Volcano, the raft trip along the river, the Tabacan hot springs, the walk in the hanging bridges rain forest park..... we packed a lot in 4 days!
I will go back again, and I will use Tachiz Travel in the future. They were also less expensive than the other travel companies.
All included meals were delicious! Only negative was the food at the hotel we chose in Arenal, it was sub-standard.
Overall, wonderful trip!
