Your overall comments on the trip:
It was a great trip. Alex and Francisco,Tachiz Travel's co-owners, are total professionals. They understood precisely what my wife and I were interested in and designed a trip that met our needs. In addition, they were always available by phone while we were in-country; in fact, they checked in with us several times to make certain that everything was to our liking. In addition, when an entirely unexpected road closure threatened to disrupt our travels, they were able to immediately arrange a workaround that kept everything on track for us.
Costa Rica is a charming place that offers a diverse array of things to do and see. Tachiz Travel made sure that we got to sample some of the best and most beautiful things in the country. Excellent job.
What were the most enjoyable or memorable parts of your trip?
The hiking around Arenal Volcano and the Tabacan hot springs. The Tarcoles boat trip with all the river's radiant birds and sullen crocodiles. The Peace Lodge's beautiful and dramatic setting that let us end the trip on a high note.
If you could take your trip again, what would you do differently?
Stay a bit longer.
