Wildlife Refuge Gandoca
Located in the southern Caribbean coast of Costa Rica. Refuge is located within the Gandoca the beach, an important nesting site for leatherback turtles also arrive to a lesser extent green turtles and hawksbill turtles.
The shelter also has a great diversity of ecological zones ranging from beautiful beaches to the important mangrove lagoon Gandoca.
To go see leatherback turtles lay their eggs on Gandoca the best time is during the months of February to September, and peak season is April and May.
