“ Tachiz Travel: Our Costa Rican Honeymoon Trip Report ”

Hello all! Just wanted to post somewhere about our amazing honeymoon in Costa Rica. While we were on the trip, we constantly talked about needing to write a review as soon as we got back because everything turned out so perfectly. In fact, it exceeded expectations. I know I spent a while researching the interent, using trip advisor and other review sites trying to plan the perfect honeymoon. It was a little daunting because there is so much information and some places seemed wonderful (from the screen of my computer) but then I would never know if it really was going to be that way when we got there in person. I contacted many agencies to help in the planning process and eventually went with Tachiz Travel  at www.tachiztravel.com (mostly because they were the best at keeping up communication and most flexible when it came to planning and customizing our trip). Alexis was so friendly and was very easy to get ahold of. He created several custom itineraries for us and was able to work within our budget. When we arrived they had a complimentary bottle of wine for us waiting in the van. Off to a great start! Some of the highlights of our honeymoon itinerary were:

-Visiting Pacuare River lodge where we got to white water raft, zip line, hike to a waterfall, plant a tree, and just get away from it all.

-Hiking around Arenal Volcano, getting to see a bright blue thermal waterfall, wildflife, and enjoying the hot springs

-Relaxing in Manuel Antonio at a fabulous hotel, La Mansion, that has a super cool "Bat Cave" bar

-Horseback riding to a waterfall and having lunch prepared in the house of our guide

-Private transfers with great service, private tours with some of the most helpful and amazing guides, and even calls to make sure everything was going as planned.

Basically, this trip went off without a hitch and we are so thankful for that! It made for a fantastic honeymoon and I will gladly recommend them to anyone planning a trip here, for honeymoon or otherwise. Pura Vida!
