Camaronal Beach

Dark gray sand beach and blue waters, three miles long. It is uninhabited, although it is known of the intention to build some resorts in the area. In 1994 it was declared a National Wildlife Refuge. Place olive ridley nesting, and to a lesser extent leatherback and green turtles. Its waves, moderate and strong, make it an ideal place for surfers. It is also suitable for fishing and camping. It has abundant vegetation, mainly at the mouth of the river where mangrove vegetation predominates.
